Diaconate Event Calendar

The retreat for the candidates to be ordained this year is being held in partnership with our brother candidates of the Diocese of Springfield at the Genesis Spiritual Life and Conference Center, Westfield, MA. This five-day retreat is required of all candidates preparing for ordination.

The ordination to the permanent diaconate of candidates from the class of 2021.

The annual retreat for deacons, deacon couples, widows, and candidates is tentatively scheduled for this weekend. The retreat master is Msgr. James Moroney, rector of the Cathedral of St. Paul. The location will be announced once it is finalized.

The National Association of Diaconate Directors, Region 1, will host this year's Diaconate Assembly at the Southbridge Hotel and Conference Center in Southbridge, MA. The topic is: "A New Way to be Church: Parish Renewal from the Outside-In." Registration will open in May 2021.
