Twinning Relationship

Twinning partners enter into a covenant relationship of prayer, stewardship and financial support.  Recognizing that the Church of Haiti is rich in many gifts but economically poor, our Diocese has respectfully chosen to establish a relationship of friendship with the Diocese of Les Cayes through an agreement of a Covenant.
 
It is very important that our twinning is based on the recognition that the many differences between the Diocese of Worcester and the Diocese of Les Cayes can provide opportunities for growth for both partners since both possess equal dignity and value.  Parishes, schools, institutions in the Diocese of Worcester are invited to join us in this noble ministry which is a lifetime commitment in solidarity with the Haitian people of the Diocese of Les Cayes.
 
As one diocese, let us build the bridge of solidarity with the Haitian people in the Diocese of Les Cayes who constantly struggle for self-determination.  Haiti’s proximity, its poverty, and the powerful spiritual health of its people make Haiti a unique asset to our spiritual development and fulfillment.
