Policies & Procedures for the Protection of Minors

On May 30, 2002,  the Diocesan Review Committee of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Worcester  published a comprehensive mandate entitled  Policies & Procedures for the Protection of Minors to deal with sexual abuse of minors by clergy or diocesan personnel. It is the policy of the Diocese of Worcester that all clergy, religious and lay employees and volunteers follow the Policy along with complying with a background screening every 5 years (every year for teachers), accept the Code of Ministerial Conduct periodically or when revisions are released, and Safe Environment Training periodically. This applies to all parishes, schools and diocesan organizations.
