Communications Ministry of the Diocese of Worcester is responsible for the following:

• Media Relations with secular and religious media
• Publishing the Catholic Free Press online and in print, as well as news feeds to all parish websites
• TV Ministry, including radio productions
• Internet productions and the Diocesan Website
• Website platform for all parishes (eCatholic)
• Email platform for all parishes (Flocknote)
• Internal communications systems
• The Diocesan Dispatch
• DVD, Video and Audio program production of key issues and special events

Communication is seen as a key component of the Church's Evangelizing MIssion, as elaborated in various pastoral letters issued by the Vatican and the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. Specific goals are communicated each year by the Holy Father on World Communications Day.
