WEBSTER – The Respect Life Committee of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish and All Saints Academy students in grades 5-8 prayed the rosary on Oct. 13 outside the Emmaus Center across from the church.
“This was a wonderful way to celebrate the Fatima apparitions,” said Father Adam Reid, pastor. He said it was an opportunity to immerse students in the richness and beauty of the Catholic faith. He said he taught them about the Fatima apparitions and “what it means to spend time in adoration of our Lord” in the Blessed Sacrament, which they did before praying the rosary.
Teacher Marilyn Berthiaume said students in her liturgy class led one of the decades.
