June 8, 2016, WORCESTER, MA -- Partners in Charity has announced that as of its June 8 report it has raised 89% or $4,454,416 of its $5 million goal for this year. 15,435 donors have made pledges and gifts to date. Twenty-two parishes of the 98 parishes and missions have met or exceeded their goals for this year. A complete listing can be found at partners-charity.net. Donors who have not yet had a chance to respond can make their gift directly online, and designate their parish to be credited for that pledge or gift if desired.
This year’s appeal will raise funds for the following agencies for use in the next fiscal year:
Charity: Clergy Retirement; Retired Priests Health Ministry; Catholic Charities; Haitian Apostolate; McAuley Nazareth Home for Boys; Pernet Family Health Services; Seminarian Health Insurance; St. John’s Diocesan Cemetery System; Diocesan Development & Stewardship.
Education: Catholic Campus Ministry; Catholic Schools Department; The Office of Religious Education; Ongoing Priestly Formation; New Evangelization Worcester for Youth & Young Adults; Catholic School Grants-in-Aid; Seminarian Education; Central Catholic Schools Subsidy; Advanced Studies for Clergy and Laity; Communications.
