Formation Timeline

The formation process for the permanent diaconate spans a total of five years.  Formation begins with two years of Aspirancy, followed by three years of Candidacy.  A high-level timeline of the formation process is shown below with major events and activities.  For a printable version of this timeline, click on the image (may be printed on letter or legal size paper).
