The Respect Life Office of the Diocese of Worcester in collaboration with the Massachusetts Catholic Conference and our two host parishes, Christ the King, Worcester and Sacred Heart of Jesus, Webster, will offer two opportunities to learn more about the proposed state legislation (HB 3320 and SB 1209) to expand abortion in Massachusetts – going even beyond Roe v. Wade. James Driscoll, Executive Director of the Massachusetts Catholic Conference and Marianne Luthin, Director of the Pro-Life Office of the Archdiocese of Boston will explain the provisions of the bills and offer specific suggestions on how parishioners can mobilize and let their voices be heard in opposition to this proposed abortion expansion. These parish education seminars will be offered on Tuesday, July 9 at 7:00 p.m. at Christ the King parish hall, 1052 Pleasant St., Worcester and on Tuesday, July 23 at 7:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish Hall, 11 Day St., Webster. All are invited to attend either session.
