Christ the King Parish will offer this highly acclaimed new evangelization program on Thursday evenings this fall. All are welcome. The program was produced by Bishop Robert Barron. There will be large-screen, high quality DVD presentations and discussion groups. There will also be a half-day retreat on Saturday, Oct. 13. The program
begins on Thursday, Sept. 13, at 7 p.m. (with dinner). Each Thursday begins with dinner (free will offerings accepted). The program concludes by 9 p.m. each evening. The schedule is: Sept. 13 (“Amazed and Afraid: The Revelation of God Become Man”); Sept. 20 (“Happy Are We: The Teachings of Jesus”); Sept. 27 (“Our Tainted Nature’s Solitary Boast: Mary, the Mother of God”; Oct. 4 (“The Indispensable Men: Peter, Paul and the Missionary Adventure”); Oct. 11 (“A Body Both Suffering and Glorious: The Mystical Union of Christ and the Church”); Saturday, Oct. 13, Retreat, 9:15 am-1:30 pm, at Assumption College (“Word Made Flesh, True Bread of Heaven: The Mystery of the Liturgy and the Eucharist” and (“A Vast Company of Witnesses: The Communion of Saints”); Oct. 18 (“The Fire of His Love: Prayer and the Life of the Spirit”); Oct. 25 (“World Without End: The Last Things”); Nov. 1, Feast of All Saints, Mass at 6 pm and ‘Celebration Dinner’ at 7 pm.
