Courage International to present in Webster
What should our response be to the ever-increasing number of friends, family and acquaintances who now say they identify as something other than who God made them? Did you know that the Catholic Church has only one canonically-approved apostolate which offers pastoral support to men and women experiencing same-sex attractions who have chosen to live a chaste life? That same apostolate also offers a group which provides pastoral care for families and friends of people who experience same-sex attractions and/or gender identity discordance. This group is called Courage International. All are welcome on Saturday, Oct. 7 at 7pm to Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Webster. Father Colin Blatchford, Associate Director of Courage, International will give a talk called “The Authentic Pastoral Response for LGBT.” Please come and bring any friends who may be interested in learning about this much needed ministry. Please be advised that the talk is geared to adults, not young children.
