CHILDREN’S CHOIR OF PARIS CONCERT - WORCESTER

An Invitation to All - Free Concert Children’s Choir of Greater Paris Returning July 18th Many will recall the wonderful concert our Worcester area experienced four years ago. A great concert was given by the famous Children’s Choir of Greater Paris. Now, this world-famous choir returns for a free concert in Christ the King Church on the evening of July 18th at 7:00 pm. All are welcome. Under the direction of Professor Francis Bardot about forty boys and girls (ages 11-14) will perform great musical works. Opening the concert, we will hear both The Star Spangled Banner and La Marseillaise. Closing the concert, we will all sing America the Beautiful and Amazing Grace. During the concert there will pieces in French from Gregorien, Campra, Gounod, Franck, Saint Saens, Fauré, Poulenc and others. Works in Italian and German will be included, by Caccini, Bach and Mendelssohn. There will be some secular music by Debussy, Mozart and others.
