BSA Scout Ad Altare Dei Program

Monday, August 29, 2022, 8:00 AMDo you know a BSA Scout interested in pursuing the Ad Altare Dei Catholic religious emblem?An Ad Altare Dei (to the Altar of God) program will be offered starting September 17, 2022 at Christ the King parish (1052 Pleasant Street, Worcester). The program will start by attending the 8:00 am Mass followed with an orientation to the program in the Church Hall. Here we will discuss requirements, expectations, calendar and overall plans of implementation. Ad Altare Dei is divided into sections based on the seven Sacraments central to the spiritual growth of all Catholics. This program is open to registered members of a troop who have completed the sixth grade (the content is designed for those 13-14 years old).Contact Tony Penny at [email protected] if you are interested.
