Respect Life Ministries

The U.S. Bishops' Pastoral Plan for Pro-Life Activities encourages pro-life activities within all areas of the Church.

Pro-Life Ministries in our parishes are one of the most effective ways of implementing the Pastoral Plan.

By engaging in activities in the four designated areas of education, pastoral care, public policy, and prayer & worship, we can all help to build the Culture of Life.

Parish pro-life ministry leaders are designated by their pastor and must be registered with the Diocesan Respect Life Office.

Training and support is offered by the Diocesan Respect Life Office for parishes and Catholic school teachers wishing to begin a pro-life ministry or re-invigorate an existing one.
