Passport to Success
Passport to Success is a training and enrichment program for catechetical leaders, both new and experienced. Designed by the New England Conference of Diocesan Directors of Religious Education (NECDDRE), the program consists of four parts, offered at various times and locations throughout New England.
Seminar for Catechetical Leaders, Part I: Preparing for the Journey
Audience: New or nearly new parish catechetical leaders
Focus: Administration and Leadership Skills
Content:
- Identify participants’ gifts and leadership qualities
- Clarify the nature and scope of participants’ parish responsibilities
- Increase knowledge and reinforce skills in management/administration, communication/relationships, curriculum implementation, and recruiting and training of catechists
- Assist participants in designing a learning plan to help them meet diocesan qualifications for catechetical leadership
Length: This seminar is offered as either a one-day format (8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) or as an overnight seminar (4:00 p.m. on Friday to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday).

Length: This seminar is offered as either a one-day format (8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) or an overnight seminar (4:00 p.m. on Friday to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday).
Part III: Ports of Call
Audience: All catechetical leaders, both new and experienced.
Focus: Based on The Effective DRE: A Skills Series, a series of nine booklets published by Loyola Press
