It’s National Marriage Week! The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops is offering a “virtual marriage retreat” and all married couples are invited to participate. The theme of this year’s retreat is “Marriage and Mercy,” fitting with this year’s observance of the Jubilee of Mercy. The daily scriptures, reflections, and prayers for the retreat can be found here:

Note to Clergy and Parish Staff: National Marriage Week is celebrated each year from February 7 to February 14 (Valentine’s Day). Within this week is World Marriage Sunday, always observed on the second Sunday in February. The USCCB has provided a very helpful bulletin insert on marriage, available online on Office of Marriage & Family and attached to the emailed Diocesan Dispatch. We hope you will be able it to make available to your parishioners along with the online resources from USCCB.
