Tuesday, June 14, 2016, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM
The Office of Ongoing Priestly Formation and the Office of Religious Education are offering a seminar for priests, deacons, and catechetical leaders on
Tuesday, June 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. George Parish, 40 Brattle Street, Worcester. The presentation, entitled “The Gift of Cultural Hurricanes: Building Bridges that Create New Connections between Parents, Children, and their Parish” will feature Dr. Timothy Hogan, an author, clinical psychologist, and consultant to the RCL-Benziger Family Life Series. What families need from us in ministry is radically changing. Using sociological research as well as his own work as a therapist, Dr. Hogan will help us to understand this new landscape and lay out effective strategies to address it. There is
no cost to attend. Lunch will be provided (free). For more information, or to register, please call Tina Romeo at the Office of Religious Education at 508-929-4303.
(Note: forms were emailed, faxed and mailed on May 4 and it is posted online under Ongoing Priestly Formation under Bishop’s Office. The LPI Stewardship seminar in Northborough was unaware of this previously scheduled event when it was announced.)
