Students Feel Safe At School

School Safety - OLA students in the classroom

Worcester Diocese Catholic school students feel safer
at school than the national average.

Students who feel safe and respected at school are more likely to be engaged in learning and able to pursue their goals. Student safety has always been a priority for our Catholic schools. Recently our schools took part in The Million Voice Project (sponsored by the Pearson Foundation), a national survey for students in grades 6-12 that evaluates school climate from the perspective of students. In all statements regarding student safety and respect, our Catholic school students testified to an experience of school that feels safer and is more respectful than the national average.
